Prawns 1985 (Agency: Hedger Mitchell Stark (shortly before the agency’s acquisition by Saatchi & Saatchi)

Launched to coincide with the new timetable in May 1985. Arguably the funniest and perhaps the most innovative commercial of the period. Geoff Stark, Hedger Mitchell Stark’s Creative Director, applied his tremendous creative skills in this fantastic spoof of the famous First World War song ‘Pack up your troubles..’ The film amusingly extols the benefits of the ‘at seat dining’, super menus, etc on the newly re-introduced Pullman services between Euston and Liverpool and Kings Cross/Leeds.
